Facades
Frameless glass facades, with the development of modern glass processing technologies, allow the creation of original-looking facade buildings or fragments thereof, the height of which can even be difficult to comprehend. They help to realize the growing desire to create façade solutions that are not technically constrained, so even theoretical visualizations can be developed; helps to optimize building U-values, solar control, acoustics and glass fixing solutions by integrating solar cells into the glass, which are used as a building decoration and at the same time as an element that improves the heat coefficient of buildings. Single elements, decorated, differently processed or different glass structures with various point fixings are used for the floor of the building, columns, allowing to provide convenient and appropriate distances.
Frameless glass facades also perform other functions: provide a good appearance inside and outside the building, suppress external noise, improve the microclimate inside the building (in winter the second facade creates a greenhouse effect and additionally heats the building, in summer the walls are additionally ventilated).
Frameless glass facades can also be designed as part of a controlled blind system, while performing several functions i.e. as a secondary façade, and at the same time full control from the sun by integrating automated system applications suitable for private residential or commercial office buildings. All of these features are the reason for the popularity of the various frameless glass facade systems among architects creating unique buildings that control natural airflow and important aspects of ventilation.
